East Midlands in Bloom
Wessington Village has been awarded a bronze award in this years East Midlands in Bloom
Wessington EMIB Certificate
Particular areas of achievement were:
Planters around the Horse & Jockey and on Spring Gardens.
All areas of the village green were well maintained and the addition of the wildflower boundary on Top Green was liked.
The frontage of the churchyard and the play area were also well maintained
The village was free of graffiti and dog fouling with only a minimal amount of litter seen
Some good residential gardens were seen in particular, 8 Coronation Street.
